Nice to meet you!

Call me crazy but since I was a child I have been obsessed with survival (surviving off the land, surviving on a deserted island, maybe surviving a zombie apocalypse) normal stuff like that. Another obsession of mines has been multiuse tools or multiuse anything. I can’t wait for a zombie apocalypse!!! I don’t know about you guys but I’m surviving! I’m surviving the post-apocalyptic world too! Where this obsession or fascination with survival came from, I’ll never know.

Why would I want to hunt, forage and be restricted to essentials or build shelters, use weapons and learn to live a self-sustainable lifestyle? Well because unlike the rest of the world I’m not in denial or turning a blind eye to the fact that the planet is going to shit. Maybe all the stuff we see in dystopia or “cli-fi” films isn’t too farfetched. If you know anything about global warming, climate control, environmental injustice, gentrification, green gentrification, or any subject like these, then you know where I’m going with this. If not GOOGLE IT! We really need to start gaining a little more awareness of what’s wrong in the world. The planet is dying!!! We are killing it and everything on it. Animals are going extinct at alarming rates, if you live in low-income or minority areas Lord only knows what you and your loved ones are breathing in every single day. Did you know the air quality is so bad in China that they can see the particular matter in the air? That’s insane and do you know what’s more insane? Flint Michigan doesn’t have clean water!!! They haven’t for 10 years. Can you imagine doing literally everything with bottled water??? Hayward California residents please google Environmental Injustice and thank me later. So, I thought I’d start a blog informing readers (if I have any) about dire situations that need attention in this shitty world. Some cool self- sustaining Ideas (just in case you find yourself in a post-apocalyptic situation) Some motivation to treating the world and the people that live in it a little better, and really anything else that could possibly make this world a little more bearable! In a world where you can be anything… Be Kind! Seriously. To yourself. To others, to animals, and the planet. Last but not least I have a book recommendation! If you’re into any of these topics even slightly READ THIS NOW! It's so good I couldn’t put it down; it was a requirement in class, but I almost read it in a day. Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler. It’s a fiction novel but then again...
